Rider Terms

How riding with Niwalo works — earnings, cash, safety and support

Effective October 2026. These terms apply to riders who deliver orders through Niwalo (Private) Limited ("Niwalo").

1. Who can ride

  • Age 18 or over, with a valid CNIC.
  • Valid driving licence for your vehicle, plus vehicle registration documents.
  • A smartphone with mobile data, and a clean record (Niwalo may verify).

2. Your relationship with Niwalo

  • Niwalo engages riders either as employees under a written job letter, or as independent delivery partners.
  • If you have a job letter signed by you and Niwalo, it sets your salary, working hours, days off, area, leave and notice period, and it takes priority over anything different in these terms.
  • Without a job letter, you are an independent delivery partner: you choose when to go online and are paid per delivery as described in section 3.
  • You're responsible for your vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and following traffic laws, unless your job letter says otherwise.

3. Earnings and payment

  • You earn the per-delivery fee shown in your rider dashboard for each completed delivery, plus 100% of customer tips.
  • Earnings are settled weekly, every Monday, to your bank or mobile wallet, with a statement listing every delivery.
  • Any change to the fee structure will be announced in the rider dashboard at least 7 days in advance.

4. Cash on delivery

  • Cash collected from customers belongs to Niwalo and its restaurant partners.
  • Deposit all cash by the deadline shown in your dashboard, using the deposit form, and keep the receipt.
  • Earnings can be held, and riding paused, while cash deposits are overdue. Missing cash may be recovered from your earnings, and serious cases reported.

5. Delivery standards

  • Pick up promptly and keep food sealed, upright and in a clean delivery bag.
  • Be polite, wear the uniform or bag when provided, and never open or tamper with an order.
  • If a customer can't be reached, follow the in-app steps (call, wait 10 minutes, contact support) before returning the order.

6. Kit and security deposit

  • Niwalo gives you a delivery kit (for example a delivery bag and uniform). The kit stays Niwalo's property.
  • A refundable security deposit of Rs 3,500 is taken for the kit, paid in cash or by bank transfer against a receipt signed by you and Niwalo. It is never deducted from your pay without your written consent.
  • When you stop riding, return all the kit. The deposit is refunded within 7 days, less the documented cost of any item that is missing or damaged beyond normal wear, with a written breakdown.

7. Safety

  • Always wear a helmet. Don't ride in unsafe conditions — a safe delivery matters more than a fast one.
  • Report accidents or incidents to support straight away.

8. Suspension and leaving

  • You can stop riding anytime. Outstanding earnings are paid at the next settlement, after cash deposits are cleared.
  • Niwalo may suspend riders for fraud, unsafe riding, harassment, tampering with food, or unpaid cash, with the reason given.
  • Any order already assigned to you must be completed before a suspension or your leaving takes effect.
  • If you have a job letter, its notice period applies when either side ends the work.

9. Data and law

Your location is used only while you're online, to assign and track deliveries (see the Rider Privacy Statement). These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.

10. Rider support
