Rider Privacy Statement

1. What we collect

• Sign-up details: name, phone number, CNIC number, date of birth, city, bike model and plate number, and email if you give one.
• Documents you upload for verification: CNIC (both sides), driving licence, bike registration and, for salaried riders, your signed job letter. They are stored privately and are never public.
• Work records: the times you go online and offline (attendance), your briefing, the kit you are given and your security deposit, and for salaried riders your salary, working hours, day off, leave and notice period.
• Notes our team keeps about your application and account, such as calls, approval, suspension and the reasons, with a dated history of changes.
• Your location, only while you are online or on a delivery.
• Delivery records: orders, times, delivery codes and photos, cash collected and deposits, ratings and earnings.
• Your payout account (JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank) for weekly payments.

2. Why we use it

• To check you are eligible to ride (age 18 or over, valid CNIC and licence).
• To offer you orders near you, guide deliveries and show customers where their order is.
• To calculate and pay your earnings or salary, keep attendance, and reconcile cash on delivery.
• To record the kit you hold and refund your security deposit when you return it.
• To keep riders, customers and restaurants safe and to handle complaints.

3. Who sees it

• Customers see your name and live location during their delivery.
• Restaurants see your name when you collect an order.
• Payment providers receive what they need to pay you.
• Your documents, work records and our notes are seen only by the Niwalo staff who manage riders.
• We share details with authorities only when the law requires it. We never sell your data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your account details while you ride with Niwalo, and delivery and payment records for as long as Pakistani tax and accounting law requires. Location data is kept only as long as needed for deliveries, support and legal requirements. Attendance records are kept for 120 days. Documents, job letter, kit and deposit records are kept while you ride and afterwards only as long as Pakistani tax, labour and accounting law requires.

5. Your choices

• Go offline at any time to stop location sharing.
• Ask to see, correct or delete your data by contacting rider support.
• Closing your account removes your profile; records the law requires us to keep are retained.
